What to Expect

Extravagant-Welcome

*Come as you wish–from jeans and t-shirt to full tuxedo; it doesn’t matter!!

*Some things about our worship service:

It lasts an hour

We sing from a song book, enjoy listening to our choir and orchestra, and hear a reading from the Bible as well as the Pastor’s short speech about what encouragement and guidance it gives for our daily lives

We offer childcare for children 5th grade and under during worship services.

We have an easily accessible nursery/cry room in the balcony of the church

We do not expect visitors to raise their hands or say anything; we will not embarrass you!

We have a wheelchair entrance on the east side of the building that allows same-level access to the church

We do allow water bottles in the church

We have a time allotted in the service to make donations to the church. We call it an offering–but it is not mandatory, and no one is thought lesser for letting the plate pass by!

We are an Open and Affirming Church, meaning that we welcome people of all gender identities and expressions. (And yes, the Pastor is happy to perform same-sex weddings. Just ask.)

We offer a free hot breakfast every Sunday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy. Our worship service begins at 9:00 AM.
